01. WED. Arrival in Addis Ababa. Transfer to the chosen hotel. Have a free morning. Afternoon (1400 hrs from the hotel) tour of the capital: visit Entoto mountain with views over the capital, the National museum, St George church and the Mercato, biggest open air market in Africa. ON (overnight) hotel.

02. Drive to Asela, cross the awash river for very nice views, and proceed to the Bale National park. ON Dinsho. Camping

03. Trek Dinsho-Habera, 4 hrs walk, altitude 3,000 – 3,500 mt

04. Trek Habera- Kerensa, 4 hrs walk, altitude 3,500 – 3,800 mt

05. Trek Kerensa- Rafu, 4 hrs ascending, altitude 3,800 – 4,000 mt

06. Trek Rafu- Sanete plateau 5 hrs walk, altitude 4,000 – 4,200 mt. Spot endemic Semien Red Fox. End of trekking. ON camp

07. Morning visit Harena forest and Tuludimtu 2nd highest peak 4,377, home of endemic Mountain Nyala. Afternoon drive to Awasa Rift Valley lake.

08. Morning visit fish market in Awasa. Proceed then visiting Wolayta villages to Arbaminch. Drive to Chencha mountain to visit the Dorze people, with their unique culture, houses and traditions.

09. THU. Drive to Turmi, admiring on the way the Konso, Derase, Tsemay & Hamer people. Have a stop to visit one Konso people village to understand their culture and way of life, famous for their terracing agriculture and unique traditions. Visit then on the way the Thursday’s Keyafer village market of the Tsemay & Erbore people.

10. FRI. Morning drive to Omorate, at bank of Omo river, to visit the Dassanech people and villages. Then back to Turmi, to admire the Hamer people & see a village and their way of life. With luck we’ll try also to participate to the Hammer marriage ceremonies, with different activities as the bull jumping; and the Evangadi dance.

11. SAT. Drive to Dimeka village to admire the very colorful Hamer, Karo and Dassanech people market. Then proceed to the Karo people, for their very interesting decoration, scarification all over their body and culture. From Kortcho village you’ll enjoy also a spectacular view over the Omo river.
Lunch box on the way; dinner and ON near to a Karo village as Duss or other.

12. Proceed to Nyangatom people and visit their culture.

13. Drive to the Mui National park and have a full day for the visit of the park. The Omo National park is one of the richest parks in Ethiopia of fauna: spot buffalos, different antelopes, with luck also elephants, giraffes, leopards and more.

14. Drive to Kibish for Surma people. Start to visit the Surma people. For beauty women wear circular or trapezoidal shaped plates into their lips. Men have different scarification all over their body. Visit their very interesting culture and go to some villages. Lunch on the way; dinner & ON camp near to Kibish

15. Trek around Surma villages; trek to Zilmamo and other villages.

16. Trek from Kibish to Tulgit, 17 km, 6 hrs walk, altitude 1,800, hot temperature. Meals & ON camp Tulgit

17. Drive to Mizanteferi and proceed to Bonga, coffe region (Kaffa region).
Lunch box; dinner & ON camp or local hotel

18. Drive to Jima, the capital of the coffee region, the Kaffa. Ones in Jima visit the AbaJifar palace and museum. Proceed then to Addis Ababa
Lunch on the way, dinner in a traditional restaurant with folkloristic dances.
After dinner transfer to the airport for departure
